HISTORY
Camp Carlin was the second largest frontier supply depot, west of the Mississippi River from 1867-1890. To get much needed supplies to frontier U.S. Army forts and Indian Stations, Pack mules like Wild Bill were used. Over 2000 mules were housed and trained here!

Camp Carlin Supply Run in July, was a great success for its 3rd year during Cheyenne Frontier Days! We had over 130 participants of ALL ages, sold 10 copies of Wild Bill, Do You Want To Be A Pack Mule? books, and sold 4 stick mules.
